Skunk Works is Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Development Program. In other words, they’re the crew that builds spy planes and fighter jets for elite (sometimes secret) military projects. Pioneers of stealth technology, Skunk Works has created legendary planes like the world’s fastest aircraft (the SR-71 Blackbird); as well as the U-2, F-117 Nighthawk and the F-22 Raptor.
